Agriturismo Sopra e Sotto is a hilly, sheltered country estate of almost 8 hectares. It has various orchards with cherries, nuts, apricots, apples, pears and figs, a small vineyard, olives trees and a large woodland. The site is bordered by two small rivers (not assassaible). Our neighbours are two Italian farmer families.

Our old ‘casale’, a converted country home with four apartments, is built on this estate. We built a small campsite for tents in and around the walnut orchard.

Especially in the spring and autumn, there is a lot of work to do on our land. We are, by the way, officially registrated farmers! With all the fruit we make delicious marmalades, with the walnuts tasty pesto. The olives are pressed into our own beautiful olive oil and we bring the grapes to the local cantina.

The ‘casale’ is about 150 years old and has always been owned by the Tomassini family who ran a farm here.

In the season we have fresh bread and rolls six mornings a week. We get these from our local bakery and all you have to do is place your order the night before.
