Exploring the hills and mountains
We have an extensive collection of walking routes and are happy to help you choose a walk that suits you. From exciting gorge walks and trails beside waterfalls to mountain hikes with sweeping views and gentle walks through the hills, there is plenty to discover.
Mountain weather can change quickly. Bring suitable shoes, water and warm or waterproof clothing, and check conditions before setting out.
Discover the surroundings by bicycle
You can also explore on your own bicycle. The hilly roads can be challenging; ask us for route ideas. Ordinary bicycles and e-bikes can be hired in Montelparo, and we are happy to help arrange this during your stay.
Villages, squares and a terrace
Along the way, charming old villages welcome you with narrow streets, quiet little squares and centuries-old houses. For a livelier outing, Ascoli Piceno, Macerata and Fermo are lovely destinations in the region. Wander through the historic centre, settle on a terrace and enjoy everyday Italian life.
