A house with a story
The farmhouse is more than 160 years old and was always owned by the Tomassini family, who ran a farm here. It was built with stones from the neighbouring Serrone stream. Whenever the family grew, another part was added to the house, explaining its shape with its many steps and entrances. Originally, the entire ground floor housed livestock, while the family lived upstairs. After 2007, the house underwent extensive renovation, preserving as many original details as possible.
Inside the house
The house now contains five charming apartments: four for our guests and one for ourselves. One of the former stables also houses a large kitchen and library.
Come here for information, to order something, borrow a book or look at a walking map. Enjoy a bite to eat or a drink on the terrace in front of and beside the kitchen. Our farm shop sells products from our own land and lovely wines from local wineries. In season, fresh bread, including wholemeal bread, organic pasta sauces and ice cream are available. There is good internet reception in and around the house.
The garden
Beside the house is a large garden with places to sit in the sun or shade. All our guests can relax here and enjoy the breathtaking views across the valley towards Montedinove. The garden has a refreshing outdoor shower and two cold tubs.
